To take it past flat brown we add red iron oxide and yellow ochre, pushing the colour darker and deeper into something closer to wet earth or river silt.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBecause it begins as reclaim, no two batches are exactly alike. Each one is its own small investigation, and the surface shifts with the coat and the clay beneath it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBrush-on, fired to Orton Cone 6 to 8 (1240 to 1280°C).
